Welcome to the official web site of Post 502, Moorpark, California. Our post has been serving veterans, their families and the community since 1966.

This web site acts as a web site for post members, for those desiring to become members and for those who desire more information about the American Legion and its mission. For the news, you are encouraged to read our latest newsletter.

We meet the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at our NEW MEETING LOCATION: Moorpark Chamber of Commerce Office, located at 18 High Street (corner of High Street and Moorpark Road) . We welcome veterans from Moorpark, Fillmore , Thousand Oaks , Somis and surrounding areas. Moorpark Post 502 would like to thank Rabobank for their generousity as they presented us with a check for $1,000 during their grand opening of their latest branch in Moorpark.

We Have a Winner!
The winning ticket was 775 and the holder was the Moorpark Rotary.  The Rotary President, Bruce Thomas was present to receive the prize on behalf of the Rotary.  The Rotary donated $100 to the Post for which the Post Commander, Jim Carpenter presented the Rotary with 20 books of tickets for the drawing.

Selecting the winning ticket was the The American Legion Sixteenth District Commander, Dan Crow.
